Welcome

As the late great Hunter S. Thompson once said, "Buy the ticket, take the ride". This blog will document my travels across this majestic country from the familiar confines of Philadelphia to the liberal sanctuary of Berkeley, where I will be pursuing my PhD in Clinical Psychology. My co-pilot on this quest is Eve, who will serve as chief navigator and occasional unlicensed driver. The date of departure has been set for August 1st, and I expect to arrive in Berkeley sometime around August 10th or 11th. My goal is to update the blog each evening with that day's events, allowing interested parties to track my progress.





My next post will include a map of our route as well as some of the places we hope to see along the way.
